Overview
About the Lemosho Route
The Lemosho Route is widely considered the finest route on Kilimanjaro, combining exceptional scenery, excellent acclimatization, lower crowds, and the highest summit success rates of any path on the mountain. Starting from the remote Londorossi Gate on the western slopes, the route traverses pristine wilderness through untouched rainforest and across the vast Shira Plateau before joining the southern circuit. With 7–8 days to acclimatize properly, climbers give their bodies the time needed to adapt to altitude — leading to success rates approaching 90% with experienced guides.
Your booking contributes to the Happy Miracle Children's Foundation — providing shelter and education for vulnerable children in Arusha.
